Participant assignment appears in the cart when at least one product has been enabled by the shop.

#Assign every place

The Participants card shows the number of assigned and remaining places. Each unit of a participant-enabled product has its own Participant selector.

1. Review every participant-enabled product in the card.
2. Select one participant for each place.
3. Wait for the saved confirmation after each change.
4. Continue to checkout when no place remains unassigned.

The buyer is available as a participant and is automatically assigned to the first available place for a product when that product has no assignment. Other choices are active participants linked to the buyer for whom booking is currently allowed.

You cannot assign the same participant more than once to the same product, including across combinations. You can assign that participant to a different product in the same cart.

#Incomplete or changed assignments

Participants Manager prevents checkout when a required place is empty or an assignment is no longer valid. It validates the cart again before payment. Return to the cart and resolve the highlighted selector; valid selections are retained where possible.

When quantity increases, existing assignments remain and the new places are empty. When quantity decreases, earlier positions remain and assignments beyond the new quantity are removed.

Products not enabled for participant management keep the normal PrestaShop cart and checkout flow.

Guest customers can see that assignments are required, but must sign in before selecting participants.
